Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 inch fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- Shredded coconut, for garnish
Instructions
- Slice the frozen banana into chunks and add to the blender. Add pineapple juice, almond milk, turmeric, and ginger and blend on high for 30 seconds or until smooth and creamy.
- Add shredded coconut as a garnish and sprinkle a few hemp seeds on top of the smoothie when serving.
Notes
To have this for an on-the-go breakfast, blend all ingredients and pour into a travel cup with a lid, and place in the refrigerator overnight. When leaving for the day, grab the cup and you’re out the door with breakfast in hand. Quick and easy for hectic mornings.
