Turmeric Immunity-Boosting Wellness Shot Recipe
Keep your immune system in check and give your wellness a boost with this powerful turmeric shot.
If you haven’t heard about all the benefits of turmeric and ginger, here is a little health scoop.
Turmeric is a Southeast Asian native plant that belongs to the ginger family.
Its main component curcumin is known for its powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Turmeric has long been used to help aid digestion, soothe inflammation, and fight respiratory infections, and more.
Besides using turmeric curcumin as a spice and paste, you can juice it fresh to take it as a liquid.
And that’s what we use in this peppery ginger turmeric shot.
But that’s not all.
This turmeric shot recipe also doubles its immune-boosting power with fresh ginger juice.
Ginger is another superfood linked to a great wealth of health benefits.
Certain chemical compounds found in ginger are known to ward off germs and viruses like E.Coli.
Other benefits like relieving nausea, menstrual cramp, diabetes, and even migraine are often associated with ginger.
In food, ginger is also a flavoring ingredient.
It has a peppery kick with a sweet and woody taste.
It’s one spice that’s perfectly made for flavor pairings.
With turmeric, it makes this wellness shot both soothing and spicy.
Together, it’s a tasty blend that kickstarts your body’s digestion and boosts your immune system.
For those who need a major pick-me-up in the morning, you can add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper to this recipe.
With cayenne, it’s fiery. I warn you.
So if you are not that into that, feel free to omit it.
Cayenne in or not, all you need is a 2-3 oz of this shot in the morning.
The mini shot is all you need to revamp your body and wellness and kick your body in gear.
